Carney's Event & Wedding Decor Rentals Services
We offer a no charge/no obligation personal consultation either by phone and /or in person, scheduled appointment only, at our shop
We offer an optional delivery service/return pick up based on our service area and availability.  The fee is based on mileage/number of trips needed for the chosen rental items.
We at Carney's Event & Wedding Decor Rentals offer a Coordinator for the Day customizable service. The fee is based on the number of hours needed.
The customer prearranges the number of hours that are needed on the day of their event. We discuss in advance the other vendors that will be involved and the duties that are needed to help make each event run smoothly. We basically carry out the customers wishes and monitor the event for any unforeseen things and address them proactively and efficiently.
This service allows the customer and their guests to enjoy all aspects of the day without handling the behind the scenes tasks. We have been told by previous customers that it allowed them to have a stress free day. We are sometimes asked to be present before the first vendor arrives and stay until the end of the festivities. But we are also asked to only be present for a few crucial hours. Some tasks that we have been asked to do include but not limited to:
Contacting vendors to verify their arrival time. Confirm what they are bringing/what they are expecting to be supplied. Greeting vendors as they arrive. Offering direction and answering questions based on customer wishes. We would reach out to the customer, on the day of the event, only if absolutely necessary. Checking in with vendors throughout the event to ensure things are running on time and smoothly.
Greeting guests as they arrive and offering direction to the festivities, key locations etc
For wedding ceremonies, helping coordinate the start and flow of the cermony. Ensure DJ has correct music cued and the timing of the processional. Fanning out the bride's dress, ensure wedding party are lined up and have their bouquets, boutennieres etc. Following the ceremony, direct guests to the refreshment area so that the photographer can immediately begin wedding photos.
Check in with guests throughout event to ensure they are satisfied and answer questions/concerns as needed.
Coordinate the order, timing, and flow of festivitiies throughout the event based on the customer's wishes.
Check in with customer and other significant people to ensure they are satisfied with the event.
This is just a sampling of some tasks we are asked to perform. Again the number of hours and the tasks needed from us as Coordinator for the Day is determined in advance by the customer and their unique needs. The customer plans and arranges all vendor services prior to the day of the event. We assume our role on the day of the event at the specified start time and conclude at the specified end time unless other arrangements are made.
